MILLET SPICY POHA
( Any type of Aval )
INGREDIENTS:
- Aval- 250 gram
- Onion Chopped - 1
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoon
- Mustard seeds - ½ teaspoon
- Jeera - 1 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - few
- Grated garlic - 2 teaspoon
- Green chilli chopped - 3
- Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon
- Peanuts - 3 tablespoons ( Fry them until the peanuts turn golden & aromatic)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Take aval and wash under running tap water. Soak in water for 15 minutes and drain the water completely. Make sure Aval is not mushy.
- Heat oil in a pan. Temper mustard seeds, Jeera, Grated garlic and curry leaves. Add chopped onions and green chilies.
- Add turmeric powder, poha and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes. Now the poha is ready to serve.
