MILLET SPICY POHA

MILLET SPICY POHA

( Any type of Aval )

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Aval- 250 gram
  2. Onion Chopped - 1
  3. Cooking oil - 2 tablespoon
  4. Mustard seeds - ½ teaspoon
  5. Jeera - 1 teaspoon
  6. Curry leaves - few
  7. Grated garlic - 2 teaspoon
  8. Green chilli chopped - 3
  9. Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoon
  10. Peanuts - 3 tablespoons ( Fry them until the peanuts turn golden & aromatic)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take aval and wash under running tap water. Soak in water for 15 minutes and drain the water completely. Make sure Aval is not mushy.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Temper mustard seeds, Jeera, Grated garlic and curry leaves. Add chopped onions and green chilies.
  3. Add turmeric powder, poha and salt to taste. Cook for 2 minutes. Now the poha is ready to serve.
