Pearl millet uthappam with fenugreek leaves

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Pearl millet flour - 1 cup
  2. Curd - 3 tablespoon
  3. Fenugreek leaves - ½ cup finely chopped
  4. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  5. Coriander powder - ¼ teaspoon
  6. Chilly powder - as per spice level
  7. Cumin seeds - ¼ teaspoon
  8. Asafoetida - a pinch
  9. ginger - ½ inch minced
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sesame seeds - 2 teaspoon optional

Instructions:

  1. Take a bowl, add all the ingredients together. Mix it well. Add water and mix it well as per pouring consistency.
  2. Check for salt. Now the Instant uttapam batter is ready.
  3. Take a dosa tawa, pour some batter, smear some oil on the edges. Cook both sides. Serve with chutney of your choice.
  4. You can use spinach instead of fenugreek leaves.
