B&B Organics Little millet vermicelli is made from organically grown little millet in Tamil Nadu. As in other millets, its cultivation is restricted to tribal areas and marginal lands.

Cultivation:
Little millet originated in Southeast Asia and is now a days it is grown throughout India, particularly in Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Little millet is a quick growing short duration cereal which withstands both drought and water logging.
Process:
Little Millet Vermicelli contains Little Millet flour, wheat and salt alone. First, the ingredients- Litlle Millet flour, wheat, oil, and salt are combined. There is no Maida added. Then these ingredients are kneaded together to make a dough and then the dough is rolled out. After this, the rolled dough is cut into thin strips. The vermicelli are then steamed and packaged after the dehydration process. Dehydration plays an important role in increasing the shelf life of instant vermicelli.
