Foxtail millet thattai

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup foxtail millet flour
  2. 1 tbsp channa dal
  3. 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  4. 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
  5. 2 Sprig Curry Leaves
  6. 1/4 tsp Hing
  7. 1 tbsp Butter
  8. Salt as required
  9. Water
  10. Oil

Method:

  1. Soak and grind channa dal. Later, add sesame seeds & roast it.
  2. In a wide bowl, add foxtail millet flour, channa dal, chilli powder, sesame seeds, curry leaves and hing.
  3. Add some water & start mixing the flour.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and then press them to flatten.
  5. Fry it on both sides till golden colour & enjoy crispy thattai
